I’m Xuan Klevecka
I’m a Southern California-based homeschool mom, wife, and Holistic Education Coach. I’m an Enneagram 5w4, a lover of good food, and a former middle school history teacher. You’ll either find me looking at road maps and daydreaming about our family’s next epic adventure or perusing recipes and cooking up a feast for the brood.
I didn’t plan to blog or coach families and educators
In fact, I actually went back and forth about becoming a homeschooler since I had such a great experience at public school, and I didn’t want my kids to miss out. This meant my eldest son was my guinea pig, and he went to preschool one year, homeschooled the next, Kindergarten the following year, and then back to homeschooling.
Apparently, I’m considered a seasoned homeschooler
We’re now in year six, and I think I’ve finally committed to being a homeschooler; however, to be quite frank, I find it challenging to be the main caregiver AND teacher to my three kids. It’s hard to be engaged 24/7, to be cheerful and present, to be the superstar homeschooling parent I both idolize and loathe on Instagram. My tank often runs on empty, so I’ve committed to carving out “me time” EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past three years.
What you’ll find on The Homeschool Front
I share about my self-care, homeschooling tips, favorite resources and curriculum, and personal journey in homeschooling my three kids. I’m also nosy and extremely curious! I want to know what others in the community are doing and how they manage their children’s education while maintaining their own well-being, so you’ll often find interviews and guest posts here and there.
I hope you enjoy what I have to offer and that when you leave this site, you better understand modern homeschooling and how diverse the community has become.

Just so you know
I often use affiliate links in the blog. This means that I make a small commission if you purchase anything through those links. If I was gifted a product or sponsored by a company, it will be plainly noted at the top of the blog post, but that will rarely happen as I only share curriculum and resources that we actually own and regularly use at home.
Thanks so much for your support; I’m really glad you’re here!
