- Did you watch NASA’s Perseverance Rover Launch to Mars on Thursday morning? It happened way too early for us West Coasters, so we just watched the replay. I believe the Rover is due to land on Mars early next year. Here’s some fun Mars projects from JPL.
- Since we’re on the topic of space, NASA & Space X’s Demo-2 astronauts will be returning to Earth on August 2nd, weather depending. They are set to undock from the International Space Station on the evening of August 1st.
- My best friend is a marine biologist and is always sending me fun ideas to do with the kids. This week she sent me a link to this recycled shark bottle craft from Living Porpoisefully.
- Art History Kids just posted an article about art activist Keith Haring with prompts to help you create your own mural. There’s a local artist here in Ventura named Andrew Rodriguez whose art I feel is inspired by Haring.
